“Break Down the Barriers!" Celebration at Oxbow Public Market

Tuesday, June 15th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM

June 11th, 2010, Napa, CA -- The Oxbow District of downtown Napa welcomes the re-opening of First Street with a special "Break Down the Barriers!" celebration on Tuesday, June 15th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend this celebratory occasion which will happen in conjunction with “Locals Night” at the Oxbow Public Market and will coincide with the actual re-opening of First Street.

"We are thrilled with this welcome news of the early re-opening of First Street," stated Steve Carlin, Founder and CEO of Oxbow Public Market. "Kudos to the contractor Suulutaaq, the City of Napa, PG&E, AT&T, The Flood Control District, and all the other agencies that worked so beautifully together to get it done right, and six weeks ahead of schedule."

In addition to great food and beverage specials, there will be live music in the Oxbow Market by master guitarist Eddie Duran, and other family-friendly entertainment.

A special presentation by local dignitaries, including Mayor Jill Techel and representatives of Suulutaaq, will be held at 5:15 on the corner of First and McKinstry St., where Gott's Roadside meets the new and much improved section of First Street, between Soscol Ave. and McKinstry St.
